    Been there done that, except I had two days worth of crappy A$$ live tuning that did nothing but smoke and make average power at best. Got every glow plug code known to man at start up. Was promised revisions...yeah right...left tons of voicemails, messages with the ones that actually answered...

    Tow rig setup

    I run a BASB with FF 180/80's and an adrenaline, I tow with GH's all out tune and my ICP holds rock solid about 2900 psi at about 42-45% IPR. Oil supply has never been an issue with my set up. And that's towing 10-12k lbs.

    I do know from experience that the D66 WW2 works better than the standard 38r WW2. Never ran the cast wheel in mine.

    I didn't see that. But I will say, there should be no oil coming from around the base of the injector. Only from the spit spout. You did say you installed a new IPR and harness right? Did you install a new IPR solenoid as well?

    By the time you chase down all the fittings that you need, you could've been had the valve covers off. A bad upper oring will show it self right away when you start cranking on it. If your injectors are 2 years or so old, you are gonna be in the bad oring range most likely.

    If it's the upper oring on the injectors, which has been a PIS issue in the past, there won't be any oil in the fuel. It will pour oil out around the injector under the valve cover. And that would be my guess as to what's going on. Dirty fuel filter has nothing to do with not being able to...

    Possibly injector orings. Make sure the nut on the IPR is tight. And I just had to replace the IPR pig tail due to random no starts.

    When I bought my truck, the temp gauge didn't work. Replaced sensors etc with no luck. When I installed my injectors, I noticed a bent pin in the main harness connector. Straightened it out and bam, the gauge has worked since. Worth a look...

    Seems to me, that if the tuning was done for a VB on the old transmission and the new one has a stock one, you need to get a VB installed if you want the problem to go away. Or get the chip burned for a bone stock tranny.

    I'll have to give it a try at my next filter change. I have the Strictly Diesel RR that keeps the fuel bowl and my stock pump keeps up pretty dang good. Gonna do a duel stock set up soon. Strictly told the the bowl would be fine with my size injectors. I'll do a bowl ****** if I ever go bigger.

    I could've sworn there was a thread on here a few years back where PHP was saying there was learning and DP Tuner was saying there wasn't. I thought Bill posted a screen shot of the learning strategy controls. Guess I'm mistaken though. But it turned into a bash fest.

    Looking for a new turbo

    Being that you need UP's, DP, and IC piping, you might as well go T4. By the time you get all of that and a turbo, you are right at T4 cost anyway.
