Burning oil/ oil in fuel
Being a 1995.... With a 155k on the clock I would steer towards dried out valve guide seals that are leaking.. I have a 95 F350 RCLB that does the same thing.. Newer borgwarner TP38 but hazes at idle.. Drive it hard and it goes away.. Dead give away of either worn injectors or valve guide seals...- elrodalexander73

Mechanically Injected 7.3 Trucks Info/Pictures
The drive flange is quite interesting, I'd wonder what it came off of.. I have a P3000 off DVT800 right now, You can build a 3000 up 14mm with a quick rate cam and 6k springs and that will do more than enough in just about any class a single charger 7.3 can do. If you replaced the IPR that had a broken screen that had metal on it I would be very leery of a failed hpop... But it wouldn't hurt to pull cab, valve covers and heads off to get all lifters out to take a look at everything.. Well pull the IPR and inspect the screen for metal shavings on the screen, it's rare to see a HPOP fail and not cause a hard to start condition if there is a metal failure.. I've done a few camshafts in 6.0s, and about 50 different engines.. If you have a metal failure, it's mandatory to take it apart down to the block and clean it very well. REPLACE your oil cooler as 6.0s have a fin type and not a log type like a 7.3, or a Cummins NTC or Cat 3406... Get it apart...- elrodalexander73

You must have gobs of hr's of tuning to get a *** to live at 1000hp?? Most DOC's and ***'s crack at around 1300 degrees, anything over 1500 degrees is meltdown inside the DOC before it reaches the ***s..
