Dana 80 swap vs Repairing 10.25 Sterling..

I put a d80 from a dodge in my OBS. Wasnt a bad swap, I cut the perches off and moved them both out 3/4 of an inch if i remember right.

The tone ring got warped when I pulled a Case 850D on a long grade up a hill with a 10 ton tag trailer... I have 7 leaf rear stacks that can literally support the weight of a Big Cam Cummins, yes I have put a Big Cam in the back of my F350 and went 2 hrs one way to pick up another one for my Kenworth W900A. I know the D80 is one tough rearend and I wanna be done.. I just lost my Grandpa this past Thursday so once this next hard week is over I'll round one up and start straightening one up for some more power.
