Transmission issues again!
I would be suspicious of the filter not being seated in the bottom of the trans. Seems like it's loosing oil pressure. You should be getting codes for that long of a delay into gear- Dzchey21

Knowing what we have seen about this engine there was most likely a crush issue with the bearings. Fuel dilution would have been obvious on all rods and mains not just 3 of them.- Dzchey21

Factory Warranty for 2014 F250
Engine warranty I believe is 5 year 100k Trans and differentials is 4 year 60K Bumper to bumper is 3 year 36K I could be wrong, the owners manual will line all that out for you.- Dzchey21

Personally I feel ford had an issue with their PcV valves having rust from the factory or storage. My truck has never had a water I fuel light. I use the transfer tank with a water separator to fill the main tank and I have never had water come out of either filter. Had codes and no power took...- Dzchey21

Well said Wayne. It is unfortunate most dealers won't do that. Ford really encourages their techs to follow steps a-f to solve a problem rather than look at it subjectively to see the cause of failure. I have see the book for fuel system issues. Notbing.. in all reality all dealers should do that but there is a risk involved with that. If they say it's warranty and ford comes back and denies the claim it's on the dealer at that point. So it's easier for them to just say no. Be careful how you state take advantage of... I would say they...- Dzchey21

Great lengths would be hauling it 1500 miles to a dealership that would touch it. I would have locked my wounds and had the cab off that weekend but that's me. I got stuffed on a legit warranty claim for ford on a fuel system that had nothing wrong other than a bad VCV valve in the pump...- Dzchey21

Don't get me wrong, If its a ford defect Ford should stand behind it regardless. When you have a bottom end failure on anything other than a stock truck its hard to justify whether or not it should be warranty. This is obviously you and the dealerships call. Anyone ever use this? Oem ford deleet kit
I wonder if the coolant lines being on top promote any better cooling of the secondary cooling system? I know that on a long drawn out pull loaded heavy the EGT's can creep up out of control. Just wondering if this might aid that? I need to look into the coolant systems a little further I guess.- Dzchey21

Yeah hard to say what the oil was and looks like and what the actual failure was. I just feel that if you tune and ****** and increase power then that's the risk that you take. Ford shouldn't have to pay that out. That drives up the cost and we pay in the end. Hence the 80k price tag on trucks...- Dzchey21

Tsb out on new oils not meeting demands of ford engines. Damage could have happened long before failure. Low end torque can hurt bearings and not The top end- Dzchey21

are all these failures seen on tuned trucks or stock? You would think with tuning there would be more rod issues then rod bearing issues? Crazy and not good. Hopefully this is a legit warranty claim and not because of it being tuned and ******d...- Dzchey21
