    It could cause no start/ starting issues. On my obs, the clamp for the harness was missing down near the sensor, and eventually it spread the pins out in the connector. Took me a bit to get that one figured out.

    I'd sure think the injectors are trashed if the hpop failed like you say it did. That would require getting the injectors checked out by a fuel shop, and you'd need to clean the hell out of the internal oil rails on the heads.

    You'd think so, but I've seen so many goofy electrical problems, you never know. Like I said, if it doesn't work, he isn't out a bunch of time.

    I'd swap in a new ficm harness for shiggles. Not much time involved even if it doesn't fix it.

    I do believe that is the swaybar mount bracket. Jeeeeeeesus I'm so glad I dont have to deal with that kind of rust.

    Yes, it controls some fueling tables, and I think some other things. With that said, I ran without one for some time and had no issues.

    Is this turbo pedestal safe to use?

    It probably will be fine, but DANG those holes are close to the side. Those bolts aren't under alot of torque, nor is the pedestal.
