    Does anyone have a link to a pin removal tool for the 42 pin engine harness connector? Does it use the same removal tool as Deutsch connectors? Going to be swapping a pristine early 99 engine harness into my obs and I'm sure will need to move a few wires around.

    Didn't have the truck long enough with that set up to do any real towing. Economy tune? That truck lived in the hot tune. Hot tunes will usually get you the best fuel mileage running empty.

    Pulled both axles out from my 97 F350 srw truck as I'm swapping to an 05+ suspension. Front passenger wheel bearing froze in place. It is probably going to have to be cut off.     engine/tranny pull?

    I had an absolute hell of a time re installing the engine/trans in my 97. I think we ended up having to have the motor loose and tilted way back and trans tilted as well to get the input shaft in the clutch splines. Not a fun job at all.

    Well doubt the alt is your issue then. Iirc my issue was like below 30 degrees only. Not sure what Indiana is like this time of year.

    Sure sounds like the cluster could be the problem. Alternator output good? I remember on my old 02 when it would get cold, the cluster would cut out and iirc the radio too (truck had manual windows). The issue went away once I installed a new alternator.

    Very interesting. The ones I speak of all came from Ford, with Ford p/n and packaging. I certainly don't believe it's all a coincidence that every one I've put on only seems to last between a year or 2, and again, none of these trucks get a bunch of miles put on them either.

    Ford icp sensors are pure junk actually. I certainly don't recommend any other brand, but can say I've seen a handful of trucks I've replaced them on start pushing oil through the damn connector within 2 years, and not very many miles...

    You don't think if an injector poppet was leaking, it could cause a contribution test to fail? And cause lower icp with engine warm?
