They were cut for 2 reasons... First, because it wouldn't have sat where I wanted without doing so. Second, because doing so should increase the spring rate. Still trying to judge that. Going to be hard to know for sure since the front springs were changed (both spring rate and I cut them) and both the top overload and bottom axle wrap leafs were removed from the rear...so some of the change will be from that.
