No not running one. Still using the stock breather. I could tell you that I was running a Precision 76 (GT-42) ball bearing, billet wheel turbo on my race car. Went 8.19 @ 165 (1/4 mile) and 5.17 @ 138 (1/8 mile) weighing at 3250 if that means anything to you. Billy T. [email protected]- gnxtc2

Hmmmm....very interesting. What I'm gonna post, I hope I don't cause any friction. When I got Cale's tunes, they were emailed to me and I burnt them onto a TS6 chip. I have a chip burner. The only problem with Cale's tunes I have, the higher HP tunes. There is too much ICP and truck starts...- gnxtc2

An OBS PCM has less parameters to tune compared to a SD PCM thus making a OBS harder to tune. Most use the TDE1 PCM code for the OBS. Some say the TEE5 code feels most powerful while the TDE1 has best drivability. Billy T. [email protected]- gnxtc2

I wanted Cale to put the SD start up map in the tunes. At low ambient temps, the motor would start at a higher idle like a carburetor. Also, there is too much ICP in the higher HP tunes and the motor starts bucking. I have a chip burner for the TS6 chips. The Tyrant tunes were emailed to...- gnxtc2

Tyrant aka Cale is the son of BTS, so I think he knows a thing or two about transmission strategy. IMHO, ones that have a built trans, need to have a different strategy. My trans builder advised me to let the tuner know not to go crazy on line pressure or if possible, to leave transmission...- gnxtc2

My truck does the same. If you're coasting, foot off the pedal and the truck slows down enough to drop gears, it'll lug. The converter doesn't unlock and when it shifts to next gear with the converter locked, it slams hard. I have Jelibuilt, Tyrant, DP, No Limit..they all do the same. Now...- gnxtc2

I've ran No Limit aka DynoProven, GH, DP Tuner, Jelich, Swamps and Tyrant. Hands down Tyrant on trans tune. I also depends on the orfice size of the boost valve in the trans and what mods were done to the VB. My trans guy (Paul aka The Punisher) told me to tell the tuner the least amount of...- gnxtc2

You really need to get a water temp gauge since you have filled block. I think you have a few issues going on that will raise oil temps: - Filled block - Extra restriction in oil flow raises oil temp Billy T. [email protected]
