You need to deeleete that EGR valve and put head studs in it. It will make it a strong engine. -
Main cap walk/girdle ?
A high compression gas engine would be a pretty low compression diesel engine. Not even considering throwing in 60 lbs. of boost of so.- Arisley

Crank no start has me stumped
Might want to pull the oil drain plug and see if oil or fuel drains out. -

OK, than that should not be the issue. The PCm does not monitor fuel pressure though, you need a mechanical gauge for that. -

With it being an OBS and not a Superduty, it could also be fuel pressure at idle. But yes, guessing on these trucks does nothing but cost money. You have to test. A scanner is a must, and a few basic testing tools. -

01 7.3 No Boost
Yes he did. It's a mechanical ISSPRO. Now where it is attached is a different question. If it is attached to the missing vacuum canister, we have found the issue. -

No the vacuum bottle is net even attached to the motor. Diesels neither make or use vacuum. The little vacuum pump fills it up. -
Alternator went out
I use O'Reilly's alternators also. If it is an easy to get to alternator, it's a no brainer. I was on my third one in over ten years on my truck. Total time to replace all three of them was less than ten minutes. All were replaced in O'Reilly's parking lot.- Arisley

2013 no crank
As old as we are getting, it's now a three grunt tight. First, always rule out the low tech issues before looking for high tech issues. For the most part, I have found that the same things break on these new vehicles that have been breaking on vehicles since the Model T. Well a little newer... -

No HPOP pressure
I would pull the IPR off the HPOP and bench test it. Or you can simply check it under the hood with a battery. I am lucky and have a 15VDC power supply I found in a building the company I worked for bought and the boss said I could have it. -
I love my 99 F-350 but Ford sucks.
