what will a stock 7.3 inter-cooler handle?
My stock 6.0 cracked the 2nd or 3rd time I hit 60 psi. My stock aluminum end tank one has held 60+ many times and currently still in the truck seeing 40-45 psi. I have several customers who have stuck with the stock plastic end tanked intercoolers with up to 71mm s4's.... so far I haven't had...- Marty

This is my point. YOUR billet wheel weighing less then the cast version of the wheel is a nice benefit that was not outlined by YOU (that I saw). The NORM as your stated experience supports is that identical wheels (as in design) is that the cast wheels are lighter then the billet wheels. The...- Marty

Going to start head studs cab on, input appreciated?
You'll want a good torque wrench. One that does not top out at the desired torque you're going to. I use ahuge matco one that starts at like 150 and goes to 600 or so.....- Marty

Anyone interested in a DYI Billet 66mm OBS-E99 Kit
Identical wheels, a billet wheel will be heavier then a cast. Less weight does mean faster spool up, if they are identical wheels. Billet refers to being made out of "one piece" which can be steel, aluminum, etc... Billet wheels are typically made to be stronger then cast wheels and come in...- Marty

If it's not, that could be a reason why you thought it was too big for your decompressed engine. I've run turbos with divided/undivided setups in that size range (75mms) and the difference is considerable. It's not as noticeable in the 66mm range, but definitely still noticeable. Studs for exhaust manifolds?
I just use the regular hex bolt. List price on a set of stainless bolts with matching m10 lock washers is like $35.00. I also use 2500* or whatever temp rating their Nickel anti-seize is. And drill out the alignment hole a hair.- Marty

Warren 190/100's, 63.5 Powermax, Airdog II, sct xtreme...what rwhp should i expect?
On a 2003 with 7 190/75's and 1 stock injector and that powermax we went 106.5mph @6900 lbs repeatedly first passes out. Calculator says 570rwhp. Trucks getting 205/100s, going on a diet and getting either the bigger powermax or some sort of T4 turbo. Currently has a walbro fuel system, studs...- Marty
