    that bar is a fixed mount the same as all the rest. the orientation of the bushing means nothing, you are still relying on bushing deflection or spring deflection for motion. to me they look like ford radius arm bushings, nothing special going on there at all. no different then the other ones...

    deflect = bind, its a restrained motion. any fixed bar added to the leaf spring system is an extra restrained making it an over restrained system. leaf springs have enough bind in them without gluing another one in the mix. shackle is to allow length changes in the spring as it deforms to allow...

    the spring is limited by the fixed bar, everything else you typed is based on flawed logic. if the bushng deflects enough to reduce the bind it also reduces its ability to prevent unwanted suspension motion, its bind by design. this is a ridiculous topic to try and argue. this design is a cheap...

    that is the hottest spot in the engine and 215 is not very hot. the fans on bigrigs dont even think about coming on until 230 nothing wrong wit choosing to keep it cooler but you are not even nearing the dangerzone at that cylinder head temp
