Vgt learned number is different than vgt percent. The 03 and early 04 trucks had a relearn they did and there is a pid called vgt learned events on ids, not sure what it is on the other scanners. Definitely unbolt the cat, had several that were plugged that threw me for a loop for a few hours...- 6.0 Tech

Is there a cat in it? What is your vgt learn number? Is the throttle plate still on the truck? What is fuel pressure? Vgt learn should be over 7, fuel pressure should never drop below 45, if it still has the throttle plate, try unplugging it, or if you can remove the plate itself from the arm...- 6.0 Tech

100k, runs like crap
I’d look for exhaust leaks as well as boost leaks. As far as the whine goes, see if it does it key on engine off prior to the fuel pump shutting off. Could have an air leak somewhere causing that noise, could also explain the rough running. What all is done to the truck? Sent from my iPhone... -
EGR delete got me into a little pickle
So, if you can’t get it out, you’ll need a front cover. You can try a torch, and try and basically burn the o ring out of it. I’ve done that on a few 6.0s when the heater tube is stuck. Use a 1/2in drive extension. The edges are rounded so you won’t fuck up the pump housing. Stick it in the pump, and get the tip of the extension on the filter seal, then basically pry it out. Should pop out fairly easy. You’ll be using the bottom of the pump as your pivot point. Sent from my... -

Yeah it’s fun for the most part. lol. Swapping turbos up on the dyno on a hot as balls truck is rough, but the perks here outweigh the cons. In hp tuners you can tell it it’s a manual, I’m sure there is some way with ids through programmable parameters you may be able to, or forscan or something. So in doing some reading on their website, i feel it reiterates the point of an a and b engine, everything the same, aside from pistons. water in fuel alarm

Could be something where it’s getting hot and expanding as well, and with it on the ground it’s cold enough to only be a small leak, but once it’s up to temp and the intercooler is heat soaked, everything expands and it gets bigger.
