Feel free to chime in
Well, I took the valve cover off and started it up. The front valves on the passenger side (I'm assuming to be intake) valves are barely opening. Can someone chime in and correct me if I'm Erin but, that's a lifter or cam correct? -

I will check the pushrods..the rocker tip wasn't worn badly on that one so, that's why I was surprised it was even installed on that one instead of the ones that were really worn. Once again...people need killing -

No, it was from an individual sadly. So, I'm stick with it...at times, I wish I would have just waited and got a 6.7. I can build this one cheaper tho for sure!! It's still the principal of course -

I thought the truck was really clean for the mileage and that's what attracted me to it. Now, I guess I will just Install new rockers and do studs while I'm there -

Thanks 78f100. I will check into that. I hasnt thrown any codes and from what I can tell, doesnt skip. I am just terrifed its not worse than this. With my luck tho, it will be a piston, lifter and rod bearing! smh -

Before I go jumping to conclusions...wouldn't my truck miss/have a cel if it had a broken rocker? I've got the thumping intake (sometimes its quite and other times its louder)noise but, the truck drives fine. It's a 08 6.4 by the way. Thanks -

Hey guys. I read somewhere else that the 6.0 rockers can be swapped into the 6.4s and they are actually an upgrade. Have any of you tried this or know of it to be true? I have the infamous intake thump and I want to order whichever rockers will be best before i tear into it. Thanks
