WTF is this noise? Its driving me nutts
I don't have clearance lights on mine and its done it on the 2011 and the 2012. ITs not around the windshield, although it sounds like it. But not often enough for me to worry about it. Hasn't done it in the warm weather. I think its s piece of rubber or flap/seal that gets caught just the right...- HoustonRider

King Shocks with Resi's 2011-12 F250/350
Just posting these up. Originally purchased for my 2011 F250 6.7 with 2.5" level in front. I was back and forth bit with King about fitment so they have spent less time on the truck (sold truck in May 2012) and more time in garage or at King getting tuned up. DEF Vid has me Leary
Each State has a different Lemon Law. Texas its 3+ times for same thing over a period of time, documented. Dealer has to have opportunity to repair vehicle. Idk about the smaller states. Sent from my iPhone in my Truck- HoustonRider

DEF Vid has me Leary
I think if you were doing an around the globe trip and didn't want to stop for DEF, it could leave you stranded. I added some (never low, just topped it off) at 4800 miles, 8700, 11300, 14600, 22196.... never a "low DEF" light yet. when you check it via the message system, it may say "less than...- HoustonRider

My 2011 Lift Build Begins

Some questions about my 2012...
theres not a finned cover on the rear of the 11 or 12 (that I have seen), not one on my 11, built in 03/11. Maybe its just on the 350's... Far as Im aware the oil pans are both the poly cover with the half turn yellow drain plug. The poly is for noise reduction properties for the 6.7 The only...- HoustonRider

I crawled under the truck again this afternoon, to double check the rears and fronts and make sure everything was still good to go. I noticed one of the resi's in the rear getting too close to the frame, so I loosened the hose clamps holding the resi's on the shock body and slid the resi around...- HoustonRider

Sorry for the delay, I had a few setbacks with King. Long story short, the rubbing (see pics) was largely due to the shocks being labeled wrong (they were labeled driver/passenger), and after a few conversations with King, they decided that there is no "right way" to just try em until they fit...- HoustonRider

I had the rears on this weekend on my property, and when I hit bumps faster than normal (30-50mph) on 10 mph roads, it absorbed the bumps like my Raptor. You can haul ass. The fronts are adjusted a bit soft for me, kinda swaying a bit. I didn't have time to play with them tonight, I'll tune em...- HoustonRider

I got the ReadyLift 1.5" today and had some time to get on the lift and knock it out. I started about 5, and by 6:20 or so, it was all done, wheels back on truck. I pulled the wheels, unbolted the shocks, disconnected the lower end link bolt and the axle dropped enough to pull the spring out...- HoustonRider
