best spot for a key on power source

I would look in the manual and look for fuse that would be KO. BOSS should have an installation manual to help. I know Fisher Plows will tell you where to look.

First time 4X4 use a little bit glitchy

Yeah, I know, but sometimes you don't know you need it until you're in the danger zone lol I guess I miss the old manual lockouts and shifter, you know what you have all the time!

I've gotten the shift delayed, please pull forward message before. Real handy when you're in a tough situation.

    35" tire review

Very cool. I looked into Rickson Wheels a long time ago. You can get fairly aggressive tires that last forever.

    D-Leted Cold Start Concerns

I don't know why Ford insists on high idle as soon as they roll over when it's that cold. Almost every other electronic controlled diesel starts and idles low for a minute or so and then ramp up.

    CNC Ported Scorpion Heads

That in a nutshell summarizes the difference in aftermarket and performance differences between Ford/PowerStroke and GM/Duramax and Dodge/Cummins. The culture and supporting businesses share and work together with a common goal. The PowerStroke world is completely opposite.

LED bulb hyper flash IDS fix?

I seem to remember in the past with older trucks an electronic flasher would solve the problem. I'm not positive though.

Oil Change and Fuel Filter Observations

I was just thinking that. I waited quite a while before putting the new filter in, but it kept drizzling out. Not too worried, just hate seeing oil spots. Next time I'm going to give the whole area a quick spray with cleaner to flush it out.

Oil Change and Fuel Filter Observations

Another oil change and more oil slobbering out. Next time I am going to try to wipe the filter base as dry as possible and install a dry filter and see what happens. I have this filter as tight as safely possible. I tried snugging it with a wrench when I got home today and there wasn't anything...

Very cool on the *** loading screen. I wish it was available from the factory. As stated above, what did it take to get the Forscan software to do this?

    Stock tune

To the best of my recollection, H&S used a random OEM Calibration when you returned to stock as well. I used a Mini Maxx on my old 5.9 and after I returned to stock I no longer had the ability to raise the idlenwith cruise control. This was something that was enabled in certain calibrations by...

    '17 work truck

Generally speaking, all manufactures comply to the same specs with respect to certain aspects, frame width, pre-drilled mounting points, wiring locations, etc. to make it easier, safer, etc. This allows body builders to make their product universal fitting. Industry standard. Vehicle...

    Entry Level MIG Welder

Small things for now. I have a plow frame that needs some rust repair and I'm sure other things like exhausts, trailers, etc. will come along. I have friends and family with stick welders, but think the MIG will be better for what I am after.
