The last few weeks I have noticed my speedometer has started to wobble, or bounce at steady speeds. It now drops down to zero routinely and the truck then starts shifting funky. An autozone scanner found the vss (vehicle speed sensor) to be bad, and I replaced it. The problem still exists...

figured it out... had to bleed the fuel bowl several times... and it started running just fine. I did the same procedure each time, but it just started working...

I have a 96 f350 with the 7.3 Truck has 168xxx 165cc with 30% nozzle new turbo air dog fuel system now to the problem... I took the fuel bowl off to help find an oil leak that I thought was coming from the HPOP. Turned out out to be the high pressure line running to the driver side...

trace the problem down to back connector at the mass air sensor. it had been hot before and left scorch marks on the connector its self, so i took it apart and found 2 wires not fully seated in the harness. truck runs great now

Just picked this truck up back in Feb(2003 f250 with 166k miles with a/t), and ended up replacing an injector the first week. Followed by the injector was a MAF sensor, a powermax turbo, comeplete set of stage ones, another MAF sensor, custom tunes. Truck previsouly had an EGR relete on it and...

tore the truck down, replaced the injectors, and doing the turbo at the same time, so 0 miles.
