Ok, not sure if this is the right place, but I feel that it is probably due to some suspension. Anyway, 03 Excursion has about a 6" lift with 35" tires. I don't remember it wandering when we first got it about a year ago, but now it's no fun to drive. I feel completely out of control while driving. It has dual pro-comp stabilizers. I've done alot of reading, but there doesn't seem to be " cure-all" for the wandering. Seems like every situation has a different answer. I don't want to just replace everything, would rather just fix the problem. Where should I start checking? Thanks

Start at the tires and work your way to the steering box . Could be a wheel bearing , worn tie rods , loose pitman arm or a worn out steering box . You can lay under the truck and have someone turn the wheel back and forth to see whats worn out in most cases .

I would bet it is the steering box. I have seen quite a few that don't like it once you add a lift and big tires.

I would do like Florida said though and start at the wheels and work your way back.

Would be much easier with 2 people and only take a few mins.

Also check your pan hard bar on the front differential. I have seen them wear out and cause the front end to wander at speed.
