ive heard amazing things about barder. ive talked to him and hes had nothing but good things said about his product and his turbo is rated for 650hp and i seen someone run it to 900's with spray. and its worked fine. ive actually talked to him about it and hes going to take that same turbo back and take it apart and see what the insided work. knock on wood he told me he hasnt had anyone call him with failures or bad things about his turbos and he told me hes built over 100. ive heard him and k/c turbos are neck and neck but barder is more reliable. almost like a bts transmission. which they are amazing.

Some people say the 4r are better because they don't have a computer and people hook them up to 6.0s but I think that extra gear that the 5r has helps a lot . But I've also heard Brian builds the. 4rs a lot more bullet proof. And I know. I have one in my 7.3 for 5 years and about 3 years withy 5r in my 6.0

Nothing good or bad to say about anyone dude. Just wondering why you are rebuilding a turbo, just to have it sent out and rebuild by someone else. But I guess if you can throw money away...

If your read what I wrote earlier I'm already sending my injectors out and tsd is removing them. I put the injectors in myself and took forever because I had to change the nozzle and I paid someone a hundred bucks to
Help me and I did most of the work. Basically almost all of it. So when I put it back it didn't run right. The nozzles weren't bad. Just the spool valves didn't go back right on two of the injectors. So I was already tired because I just removed them. So I was going to
Have ford do it and they wouldn't and sent it to tsd. My families company has a account at ford and they hook us up. I know they are pricey but I had no one else to help me take them out again. It basically took 2 days . A day and a half actually. But still I was tired of it already. And since it was at tsd I didn't think I was going to go so big with the injectors. I'm going to 225s I thought they were just gunna fix my nozzles. But they conviced me to go bigger and send them to warren and warren will flow test them. And tsd will practically warranty all the work they do. So if they **** up my injectors or turbo . It's all on them! And they fix it. I still personally talked to James at barder . So he knows it's my turbo. But basically it is kinda a waste of money but it's worth the warranty from tsd. I've known them for years. And I usually do all the work to my truck my self but I'm getting tired of problems. It's a 6.0 you know. And I just want a fast truck that's reliable. But yea man I would do it my self but they conviced me to send them out. And now I can sell my nozzles and get money for them. And the turbo was a last minute deal. I was going to leave it alone with the smaller injectors it would of been fine. Since I went bigger I need a bigger turbo. And bigger hpop which I have. And that's the only thing I didn't want to replace was the hpop. To be honest they were suppose to do my valve springs and push rods and exhaust manifolds. But try can't because they would charge me to
Much for labor. I also had a cam but the labor was way to much for that to. But they are gunna do the up pipes and egr delte. That's the only stuff I couldn't do was the valve springs and push rods. I could do the exhaust mini folds if I had room. But I'm gunna have to do that in the future. And tsd conviced me not to do the cam. Because they said it doesn't do much. Unless your running a tow truck with 900 hp . The rest was just to expensive for labor.

I've done my transmission and my turbo and my fuel system my self . That stuff is not bad. And the injectors. It's just time and head aches. I didn't want to put it together again and not work. And plus these second injectors are warren. The first were elites.

I love to learn and tear things apart and see how they work . But once you have done it enough you just want it done fast and right. And not have to pay for your screw ups lol
