08 6.4 headlights

i have a 2008 6.4 and I've noticed that my headlights always come on, even when the light switch is off my head lights will come on as soon as u put it in drive. my friend as the same truck and his don't do it? any reason y they do

It's called daytime running lights.

It can be turned off with IDS

that is fords diagnostic/programming tool. every dealership has several of them.
