did u get the 08 bracket so you have the tailgate assist? if so is it a noticeable difference?

not yet. thy guy i got it from took out the 08 driver side hinge on the gate itself so it installs just like the older ones do. when i got to get it painted and after the window is done with i do want to re install the hinge on the gate and the new truck side hinges for that reason. it is lighter overall than the old one though

ha yea the 04 one was lighter than my 98 f150 gate and the 08 is lighter but niether of these are as light as my dads 2010 f150 was or 2011 f150 is

Those new f150 gates take no effort to close. They're awesome

No, it is installed on my truck now. No camera, just the camera handle.

do you know how hard it would be to get a camera to fit. got a feeling the ford camera is gonna be very expensive
