If you find the right company that is willing to take the time to properly balance it then speed will not be an issue. I've had mine 180km/hr and don't have vibration issues, however that's with 38.5" tires and 3.55 rear so shaft rpm stays fairly low.
For just general reference(pretty average setup), 35" tires with 3.73 at 80mph gives a shaft rpm of 2865. If you can get the shop to balance the shaft to 3500-4000rpm even with a little extra $$ persuasion then your laughing.
Here's another option I considered. It would handle high speed much better because of the reduced weight. Strength was my only concern, although I'm sure its very strong. I mean just look at the name. The only aluminum shaft with a slip yoke built in (that I know of) so the transfer case doesn't need to be modded to a slip shaft.
