10.25 swap

Well finally got the rear axle swapped so the gears match in my truck. Only problem is the VSS is smaller on the swapped in axle than the original. Now the trans won’t shift correctly, abs is on and it’s throwing a P0500 code.

Does anyone know when they changed the VSS size or any other info so I can get the old girl back to running correctly.

What did the axle come out of that you used on the swap?

So I’m just a little stupid apparently, the outer plastic case is stuck in the rear and it pulled the internal part out. That is why the new VSS ain’t fit. Now to try and get the outer case out and not get the plastic into the new diff fluid

After fighting with it for 20 minutes was able to get the entire plastic housing out. Drives great now, just have to get used to the new shift points or need new tuning
