Hey guys I'm just curious if anyone has the torque specs for the '07+ 10.5 rears? I'm not sure if they would be the same as the previous 10.5's. They changed some things with the pinion so I don't know if they changed the rotational torque spec for the pinion preload.

I need to start buying some Ford service manuals...

Thanks!

Those specs seem to be the same as the earlier 10.5's. I'm confused by the "case half bolts" and "pinion shaft lock bolt" though. What are those? LOL And do you happen to have to pinion preload setting? That was my main concern because they changed some things slightly with the pinion bearings on the later ones.

pinion bearing preload with pretty much any rear end using new bearings should be 25 in/lb

the factory posi case is two pieces so that spec must be for the bolts that hold it together. pinion shaft lock bolt would be the bolt that holds the diff pin in, the light duty 10.5s use a 2 pinion case.

Oh ok. I forgot about those. I never pull them apart. A TrueTrac goes in before I tear those apart. LOL If it said differential carrier case I would've known.

Thanks alot!
