Today I bought a 17 degree HPOP out of a 2001. What is needed to swap it into my 94.5? My factory one is coming out anyways because it is leaking into the valley.

It is gonna be more problematic because will have the HPOP reservoir leakdown issue. There are some fixes for that but not super easy ones. The most direct route would be a aftermarket pump modded to work in an early truck.

That's what i was thinking. So i would need a front cover off a newer engine then?

That is a huge amount of work. I think I would look at a adrenaline or T500 built to work on a early truck first.

Just send both pumps to Joey at Terminator, he can put the 17° guts into the 94.5 housing so you won't have the leak down issues.
