front fenders can definitely handle bigger than that. i think the width on the rear is gonna be the limiting factor.

Gotcha really appreciate all your comments.
any idea how to get a solid answer quickly? He's going to order them today...

I'm fine if it's not maxed out to play it safe but would like to try and get the biggest.

i have a 2.5 inch spacer in the rear of my dually between the tires and i can fit 35s on it. now, i dont know if there is a different offset from 2000 to a 2017 rim but the width of the rim comes into play too.. especially on the front if you want to go bigger in the front then in the rear.

8.25 width...

And I'm upgrading cause I hate these wheels and the price I'm paying is dirt cheap so why not lol

Did you ever get your wheels put on ? If so have a pic I'm going through the wheel debate myself
Ugh not yet.. my guy is jacking me around.. I have like 4 sets of wheel/tire combos on order and a bunch of other stuff so it's taking awhile... reason being I get a price know one in their right mind could beat so I have to play the waiting game...

As soon as I do though I will post up some pictures.
