175s and a powermax in Colorado?
My brother decided to do some mods to his STOCK EX and got a live tune and bought some gauges. The tune shop was rude to him and had him sitting in there lobby for 2 hours for his truck and would not let him see his truck getting tuned and when he got it back his clutch fan would not unlock they told him it was his truck computer and he would have to come back another day to have them look at that and it may resolve itself. He did not no any better so he drove his truck home and it sounded like a airplane all the 30miles home. he shut off the truck for a hour or so and went back out to start it up and when it started it through 4 codes and was running rough. so he put the truck back to stock and now it is back to normal. He is going back up there on Monday to get them to fix it or give him his money back. and they will not email him his tunes so he can store them on a file on his computer. Sorry I just needed to vent. The question I have is they told him he should not run 175s with a powermax at that altitude because the 175s would be to much and he should run 155s. I did not think this made any scene to me 155s are just a little over stock and 175s can be turned down if he can't handle the fuel. Any opinions would sure help.
