I live about 1hr from Disney we were just there last week for the weekend. I see about 36psi I run looney wild track as my daily driver and haul my lawn trailer daily. I can pull it well over 1600 if i wanted to i run about 900-1000 on the highway at 70mph. I will be getting water injection and some other stuff this fall to help control that.

Why dont you just ask your tuner to pull some fuel out of your DD tune.

Customer service is everything to me and my company also. Anthony has told him he would call him back several times and never did. I no we all get busy but several times is BS. Anthony needs a new job where he does not talk to customers because he does not no customer service.

That's when I was their, 3-6. How does the powermax spoll with the 190's? I want to get some 155 or 175 and fly Vivian up to live tune my truck. I'm on my way back done to pembroke pines for work, hoping to get a chance to stop by and meet Vivian.

I would like to comment on this since I am the tuner.

First off, the excursion is not responding to my tunes. I have tuned lots of excursions without issue. There are other behind the scenes items that are causing his issue. The truck has the fan come on with my tunes. Well I returned it to stock and the fan stayed on. The fan was staying on even though the signal from the PCM was 0%. That still tells me the truck has another issue. At that point I stated I did not have time to diagnose the fan issue (I don't work on trucks) and the vehicle would have to diagnosed by one of our techs. So it was determined that it would need to be rescheduled.

I was informed that after the owner disconnected his batteries that the fan issue went away. Ok, so I emailed him a stock SCT file, to see if it still stayed on even though I did no tuning. The fan still comes on. Well I don't make the base file, SCT does. So at that point it is either SCT's base file or something is wrong with the vehicle. It has nothing to do with if I can tune the truck or not.

Elite Diesel is more than willing to help our customer. Sometimes the fix isn't instant on an issue like this.

As far as 175's and a Powermax, Anthony was right, it will run hot at our altitude. Also you can't just tune down big nozzles at altitude. Ask Aaron Rudolf if he has a newfound respect for altitude. Clean trucks everywhere else, smoke up here.

is the EGR valve unplugged? That was cause the fan clutch to set duty cycle to zero, or react very sporadically without it plugged in. It needs a signal.

Nice to hear both sides of the story, I can feel for both of you. If you need hep diagnosing, start asking questions.

They are EGR deleted tunes, valve is having no effect.
Tad I will PM you his number. I think Anthony is not communicating the info between the 2 of you correctly . Please give him a call thanks Jim

I've talked to Steve 3 times today. I'm dealing with SCT directly to make sure that there is nothing on the tuning side that they can take care of.

JD I will Happily disagree with you here, just because the egr is disabled in the tuning, the truck still needs to see the voltage signal for various other tied in functions to work properly. I myself have tested the theory and every time i've unplugged my valve the truck ran poor and the fan clutch would always act, for lack of better words mental. Lots and lots of people have had issues with this.

Thanks JD Steve feeling alot better working with you. He wants to get the truck back over there to get tuned and fix what ever is wrong with it. Tell Tad I was not doubting his ability to tune a truck. I would have never said to take it to y'all if I thought you guys could not do a good job. Thanks again for helping him.

It doesn't matter whether the tunes are EGR deleted or not, the fan will still not function properly without the EGR valve plugged in.

I guess I should say the valve should be having no effect, There are thousands of 6 liters running without EGR valves.

Sure thing man. We want to help him out but it's tough without having the truck here. Also, he just told me that both Vivian's tunes and Gearhead's tunes do the exact same thing that ours did.

I have been back and forth with SCT since 9 this morning and they can't pinpoint any issues with the files.
