17's

I'm looking to get rid of my 20's and go with a 17 with 285/70R17. How does that tire look and fit on a 17x9, I can't find any 17x7 or 17x8. I'm worried that's way to wide of a wheel and cause trouble.

I had 285-76-17 on my truck for awhile on a 9" wide wheel and the wheel wasn't to wide for that tire didn't have muh sidewall bulge either
