1996 7.3 lifters

What's up guys I need some help on lifters. If this isn't the thread I'm supposed to be in please guide me to the correct one. 8c3z-6c329-b lifters is what I bought ford is telling me there incorrect. Can someone shine some light for me on if that's true or if I need a different set of lifters. I bought them because i rebuilt my entire motor :biggun:

thanx for the reply, I thought so but there is another part number out there for the 7.3. cant remember it I had it written down. so these lifters fit 6.0 6.4 7.3??? that's what ive been reading

also like I mentioned before I have a 1996 7.3 powerstroke

6.4, 6.oh, and 7.3 powerstrokes use the same lifters.. all interchangeable..

even tho I have the older 7.3? that's where I worried. I understand if it was interchangeable with the newer 7.3 99-03, jus wanted to make sure they would fit in my older 7.3
