Hey guys! I just recently purchased my first truck. a 1996 F250 with a 7.3 in it. I was wondering if any of you would happen to know how to swap the mirrors to the new style? and which mirrors would be best for it. trying to stay away from dodge.

IMHO the Ford gooseneck ones are the best looking for these trucks.

Since you have power mirrors, the top two holes of the gooseneck mirror match up. You just have to drill two holes for the lower brackets.

My truck came with power mirrors and swap over to the gooseneck ones. I flip out the mirrors when I tow my trailer.

I also think the 4 post mirrors are the best and look the best. Super duty mirrors look like $H1T. Chevy mirrors don't like half bad but I believe are still too big and bulky.

Definitely get from Ford, people have had issues with the bracketry on the aftermarket one's matching to the contour of the body lines...

Billy, I hate it when you post pics of your truck, too many things I need to do, but my hole end result is exactly how yours looks, but I'm thinking maybe repainting with a metallic black

I loved my gooseneck mirrors. ERA correct and you can actually SEE behind you
If you can't find New FORD one, then look around for USED ones, but make sure yoou get the gasket for the top and neoprene washers for the 2 lower mounting points.
LMC is pure CRAP
Putting the new plastic mirrors on these trucks is like putting 20" wheels on
