I wouldnt mess with it. Tune it and go. No lifts, no bs. Ive been dicking.with lifts since I got mine(its always had a 6" lift) changing blocks, removing leaves, etc. The lift springs are stiffer but since i wont have my truck hooked to a trailer fulltime ride suffers, imo.
Maybe get you a set of traction bars and some mild mods and keep truckin!
You didn't look too close to the picture, it already had a lift with dual front shocks and traction bars on the rear.
So, how much did you give for it?
Haha I just thought he meant dont lift it any higher.
I got it for 15K. A little on the high end but the truck is clean and the owner was family so he took care of it and maintenced it like crazy. The thing I liked about it was he did the transmission a few months ago and it had newer tires and front end also.
Don't listen to those other guys, I think you came out ok. I sold my 2000 f350 crew for $17,500, but it had 81,000 miles on it. I probably could have gotten more for it if I would have held out longer or priced it higher. Your truck definitely looks clean and well taken care of. I don't see any rust either. It makes me want another crew cab stroker pretty badly.
Tow mirrors would be my choice for mod number one.

You did fine, in cali where I bought mine, our trucks are going for 20k+, the 6.0's and 6.4's are so regulated there its driving up the price on the "non-regulated" 7.3's (by regulated I mean EGR's, EGR cooler, DPF etc, they are required by law to leave them on the truck). I felt like I stole mine at 14k with new lift, tires, batteries, starter, and alternator with 150k on the clock. Go ahead and change those mirrors out, if you tow your gonna end up hating the paddle mirrors.
