Well just an update. I am currently at a stand still, trans went out on the truck so i am currently trying to find a good replacement. Most likely going to be getting an ATS from hotrodtractor. Bad news is that because of this who knows when the paint work will be taken care of. Some things came up so what little money I had after getting a trans has vanished, so hopefully by summer/fall it can get painted.

I am also selling my Glowshifts and getting some Autometer Gauges, and I am also going to be sending my chip off for a reburn, where i am undecided but i am torn between Gearhead and Tyrant.

Isnt it black now? Cant tell by your avatar.

Anyway, that black would be really sharp. Or maybe flat black would be nice. Either gloss or flat black are my votes. Try a photoshot of the flat black. It might look better than I'm picturing it.

The truck will be getting an ATS stage 3 from Hotrodtractor in the next few weeks. Can't wait to be able to drive it again!

Got the trans.

I went to the ford dealer yesterday too to get fluid, the guy was nice enough to give me Employee Pricing. I was happy

Well I can't stress enough how thankful I am to of had Cat_Rebel helping me out. I definitely learned alot today and i appreciate all his help. Also thanks to oneofakindsd for the trans jack

Between last night and this morning i got my mirrors painted:

Coat 1 of Primer

Coat 2 of Primer

Base coat 1

Base coat 2

After a coat of clear coat

Matches Pretty good i think

Now for the fun part:
Old trans out:

ATS up on the jack

Getting it lined up

Supported under its own weight

Glad we got the old one out & new one in. Wish we would have got further but the weather wasn't in our favor & I don't like to rush last min builds. Once the T case is on it's just all little b!tch work to wrap it up & make it driveable again.
