I've got a 2003 F250 sc/sb 4x4 with the 6.0l/auto, 125k miles. Was stolen in 2011 and recovered a short time later. It sat in a police lot for a month and was returned with a no-start condition. The owner, a friend, let it set on his farm for a year until I bothered him enough and he finally decided to work out a deal with me. I originally wanted it for it's D60/10.5, to use in an offroad truck I'm building. However, I've since decided to go a different route.
My friend tried to get it running, but never figured out the problem. He burned up the starter trying to do so. I did get it to turn over with a breaker bar on the crank, but haven't had a chance to mess with it too much. The turbo appears to be okay. It spins without play. It is dirty though from sitting. The rest of the motor is there and intact. The trans is a Ford "BlackBox" replacement with only 50k miles on it. It still has red fluid. Electronic 4x4 transfer case. Truck still has the full stock exhaust with the converter.
The interior is mostly there, except for the front door panels, radio, and of course the drivers glass that was broken out when it was stolen. I do believe the gauge cluster is bad. The seat are still in pretty good condition, just dirty.
The body is in pretty good shape. The only dent is in the rear driver's bedside. The rest is pretty straight. The paint is peeling on the hood and tops of the fenders.
I do have the title if someone is interested in fixing it up. I was considering fixing it up or putting a cummins in it, but I spend most of my free garage time keeping my 06' F250 on the road.
Price is $3000. I am not really wanting to part it out at this time. I do have pictures and can send them via text or email. Located just south of Owensboro Kentucky.
