2011 Electric Locker gasser Diff into an 08 Diesel Superduty ?

Has anyone looked into putting an Electric Locker into a pre 2011 SD ?

How would an electric limit slip diff (3.73 ratio) from a 2011 F250/F350 gasser Superduty work in a 2008 F350 Diesel Superduty ?

Would one swap the whole diff ? Brakes too ? I think the hub pilot diameter is larger on the 2011+ ?

Or could one swap just the carrier ? Are the diff housings different ?

once you open the diff to remove the locker and gears to swap you have to go through the whole setup process again since you don't want to mix and match pinion gears ,, at that point I would just get an ARB or swap the whole axle ,, if it has no compatability issues ,, and that IDK
