So I picked up some oem take offs and after spending hrs searching, I found some info and how to do the swap but it mostly pertains to 2008 mirrors.

I need info on how to wire up power fold, extend, heated and lighted.

Fold and extend, see if you can get the witch and harness from sunrise. Heated get something like a seat heater switch and mount it in the dash. Stays on for about 10-15 mins iirc.

Good idea, I was thinking a lighted on/off switch for the heat.

Most people that have done it have been going with a timed button switch like the seat heater or I think some people were getting some explorer rear defrost button from a u pull it junkyard to use. Just one less thing to think about turning off.

That is a god awful way to tap into wires. Wiring that whole setup in for the new mirrors is a pain in the ass. You can do the heat with a normal on/off switch if you want. Exes had them that way but 03-07 heated mirrors are on all the time.

For the powerfold you need a momentary relay. The factory one is about $80.

After driving with these mirrors I must say that they are amazing at how well they work compared to the old tow mirrors.

May have figured out the wiring, going to work on it here in a few.
