2012 Excursion Conversion

Everything all tided up. Used the V10 pump to transfer the Diesel from the 12 tank to the ex tank, swapped the filler necks and tubes. Got the 12 Excursion running today. Tomorrow but on the body and do the parking brake.

Body back on, doors back on, body jigged in and weld in place, Tomorrow welder up.

Not much to say today. Welded the floor and inner and out rockers together.

Made a little more room in the shop today, welded up the A pillars and ground down the welds. Tomorrow prime welds and caulk joints.

All grounded down and cleaned up, wired wheeled, primed, and seam sealed.

Started wiring the inside. Got the taillights, reverse lights, third brake light and a heavy ground ran to the battery.

Because it is a customers Ex and if it ever ends up in a emission state it would have to be put back on. So we do it this way and delete after it's all done. Customer is still looking into deleting.

I have one question. Do you need the Crew cab for it to work right? Or could a extended cab work?

Ex cab should work. Front part of cab is the same for any cab configuration.

What is your plan for the for the 2nd set of doors to match the 2012 door skins on the front doors?

Awesome work, love seeing these and the 6 door sorta projects come together! These modular cabs give the ability to put together some cool configurations.

I really hated to see that brand new truck get cut up though. LOL
