No kidding. Trying to get the bolt that holds the upper portion to the bellhousing is impossible.
Yeah, taking the downpipe apart from the cobra head makes it accessible, but trying to get them back together is a mother ****er and a half. And then lining it up with the stud on the head is a whole other chore... Lot easier to get a hammer in to reconnect the pipes with the cab off...

I agree on the v bands. I did say make sure they are lined up 100% or they will leak.

im going to pull it apart again this evening and line it up again might use the ford v band clamp instead of the one that came with the kit.

checked the v band in the up pipe and sure enough that was the leak now the truck runs pretty decent.
