He either as the wrong pyro source selected, the wrong sensor in place or a bad sensor.

I have my pyro mounted in the H&S egr block off plate. It is all good 600-700 cruising empty 900ish cruising loaded and 1500 max honkin on it. The high numbers came up on mine when I didn't have the block off plates and was just using the mini max pyro 1 setting and whatever sensor it was reading. 2600 degrees at idle!

with the h&s can you read the pyro in the block off plate as well as the stock egt1 sensor?

i would like to see what the difference is between those two readings.

The pyro on the block off plate connects to a pyro plug on the motor and is displayed on pyro1 on the H&S.

I honestly have no idea but I just about shat when I drove it the other day and looked at it. I dont think he bought the one with an actual pyro to install.
