2013 box on a 2004?

Got a 2013 box to go on my 2004. my question is, will it line up with the current mounting points? will i have to change anything to get it to line up?

It should line up just fine, just the body lines won't match and you'll have the bigger fuel door.

What do you mean by looks off? Just the dimple above the wheel wells or the box itself looks off/uneven in a way?

The wheel arch is different. You could probably cover it up with front flares for your body style, and rear flares for the 2013 body style.

i have seen some pics ( I couldn't find one ) it just looks like it's the wrong bed for the truck IMHO

Just that the styling doesn't line up the lower body lines are different. It fits and works and is rust free just body lines are off.

alright, thanks guys. the ultimate plan down the road would be to put a 6.7 front end on it to wrap it all together.

If you put your thumb over the wheel arch, the bed looks fine. I think if you ran some flares that covered it up nobody would ever know. If you're going to swap front clips too, then I guess you could just deal with it for a bit.

I think it looks just fine, knowing other people they won't even notice until I point it out.

In my opinion that is extremely ugly. Not to mention the different paint color does not help it blend in.
