2015 6.7 tranny temp

I recently bought a 2015 6.7 and was noticed today that the tranny temp was around 205 driving down the road at 75mph unloaded. Is it normal for these transmissions to run that hot.? I have owned a 7.3, 6.0, and 6.4 and I don't ever recall them running that hot unloaded.

My 15 runs 203 ish crusing loaded flat road 70mph. Normal range on the gauge in the dash so I guess its good??

wtf? when did you get a 15?

yeah all the 6.7s run that temp. not sure but i think the trans cooler has a thermostat in it. lol at least it acts like it..

All 5R110 and 6R140 transmissions have thermostats.

Morgan@Midwest has that covered. most all the modded turbos he has comes from barder.

Just the ones with larger turbines. He has is own stock modded ones. Street max, tow max, etc.

I do the large 66/70.5 and 68/70.5
