Its very hard to get used to in the beginning. On the highway at 65mph my tach is at 2000rpm. I have some goodies coming for the truck to suit my style and to also help with that low gear. As far as performance it rips through the gears and has tons of power. I don't even really notice a difference in the truck with the programmer on it in extreme tune. You will love the wide trac axle. It turns better than my F350 did. Good luck finding one though, they seem hard to come by.
