Then there is this school of thought. However, with that low ass duty cycle how do you keep the pumps from getting bored? Gotta be able to work them a bit on occasion, like a good dog, or your liver. Gotta keep them in shape. Athletes don't stay in shape because of potential.

Why does reducing duty cycle increase longevity? Arent these piston style pumps with a solid shaft and gear on the end? If so then they're turning the same RPM and under the same pressure with 1 or 2 pumps in action. Pressure is regulated by a valve inside of some sort I assume, so wouldnt low duty cycle mean its opening/closing much more? If i'm at 100% duty cycle then it just stays open(close?) right?

Genuinely looking for knowledge on how the pumps work is all.
