I was thinking the same thingFunny, the farther away it gets, the more I can't tell if it's a Chevy or a Ford...

250 will have the option of the 10.5 or the new M275. 350SRW is standard with the M275.
Josh.
I havent had my eyes on one of these up close yet.
Still a 3.5" Axle Tube with U bolts down orientation?
You can PM me if you want. Appreciate the help
I'll get you a few pics and measurements up shortly. Just got done driving the 450 with the head Powertrain engineer trying to get the scoop on the M300 in the 350 DRW and 450s. Give me a minute.
I would greatly appreciate anything you can provide. I can even drop you my cell number.

While you are at it ask him why all the long bed crew cabs bounce at 45 mph.
The new ones?
I doubt the old ones did during testing. Larger, heavier rolling stock and inadequate shocks is my opinion (yep that's all I got). The only exposure ive had is two trucks locally. One is a 14 ccsb. It was ******d and tuned. We added a 3.25" pmf block, bars, and bilstein 5600s after leveling it and the cyclic oscillation is gone. He also replaced his rear spring eye bushings which is also a likely culprit. The cclb we replaced an egt sensor in did it and he put large shocks on it. Fox 2.0 or 2.5...they had reservoirs. His supposedly went away. But they may just be dampening the oscillation.
I say switch to upright u bolts and some decent shocks
I can tell you the new ones do not have the hop.
Right off the lot down here brand new Crew Cab Long Beds hop. All the ones that were test driven by a friend of mine. The one at the shop did it and he test drove (6) total CCLB brand new trucks at two dealerships and they all did it.
I took a friends truck for a spin that said it didn't do it. Guess what happened when I made him go around 45 mph.....it bounced....LOL
It is a speed that some people may never really see during their normal driving. They either are accelerating past it or staying below it.
By the way.... Thanks for the new picture. I like that one better than the spaceman!
This is what the F450 has.
Just Crew Cab Long Beds. No weight in the bed or towing a trailer. F250 or F350. If it is any other cab/bed configuration it doesn't count.
The 450 pickup has a neat balancer deal at the end of the frame near the hitch.
