My 15 sounds stock. I have a 40" Donaldson muffler with a 17" FTE resonator in front of it. It is very quiet. Even towing or on a wot run.

I think they are for sure louder than a 6.4.

They seemed pretty even to me loudness. 6.7 has a very distinct sound though. Similar to the LML honestly

I've only heard a few straight piped. I thought they were similar to a 6.4 but I've never heard a 6.7 on a WOT straight piped.

I don't even regard a "straight pipe" 6.4 as loud TBH. It's a factory compound truck. Two turbos keep it quieter. Single turbo trucks always seem to make more noise.

My 6.4 had 5" no muffler, it wasn't bad at all. When I bought this 6.7, I bought the same set up, terrible mistake. It was ridiculous. I played with several different exhaust set ups, ended up with a 4" with muffler. I wanted some noise, but didn't want it retarded loud.

I'd apologize for derailing this thread, but seems everything has been answered in it anyways.
