I’ve been having issues with my truck surging and unable to pinpoint why. It will stop when the cruise is set. Today got a message for advance trac and hill decent unavailable and the wrench light and the truck would barely move with the pedal pushed. Shut off and restarted and it seemed ok for the next few miles until I got wheee I was any ideas ?

I have replaced the accelerator pedal a few months ago with a OEM Motorcraft pedal. This didn’t help the surging. But today is the first day I got anything like this

Those are throttle pedal codes. I just went thru a similar issue on my 6.0, turned out to be a loose pin in an inline connector that seemed fine when testing it, but I tightened it out of frustration and fixed my issue. I’ll have to look at the wiring diagrams tomorrow at the shop, and see if I can’t help you out a bit

So I don’t normally look at u codes, as they’re typically bs codes. But that u3013 is a voltage code at the bcm. Could be causing your issue, unless you had either killed the batteries at one time, or jump started it. Depending on sub code, be it a 16 or 17, indicates which way the voltage was, 16 being low voltage, 17 being hi voltage. So for shits and grins, check alternator voltage, as well as ac voltage at the batteries. Dc volts should be 13.x-14.6, typical charging volts, if you see over 15, got an issue, ac voltage should be less than .1v if I remember right.

There is an inline connector, being connector 219, which looks to be under the brake booster, check it for issues and pin fit. I’ll attach pictures of the connector face, and location, ans well ans the wiring diagram for it. Also check pin fit at the pedal. The first code is for app d circuit, I’m not really sure which one that is, the second code is a discrepancy between the 2 position sensor readings.

Hopefully this helps some.
