I know most guys are members of other forums and some are not. But I kinda started to get things heated in a post(#34) on the ORG about larger intercooler tubes that Banks uses http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/6-0l-performance-parts-discussion/160422-inter-cooler-poll-4.html
Let hear it guys. Personally I see no improvement with larger pipes. Larger intercooler yes, but not larger pipes....whether it be cold side, hot side or both. I know there's guys that say they've noticed less lag and better response with the Banks intercooler. But was it from the piping or the intercooler itself? Also heard guys say that the larger pipes hurt their trucks lag and response.
I'm more interested in hearing about the larger diameter piping(not the intercooler) on why it's just soo much better over stock that the Banks lovers think.
