Are you still thinking of going bigger on the fuel side after our upcoming test?

After JD's original testing, I had decided against it. Now this is making me re-consider, but since within the next month or so I am gonna be asking me truck to gross up to 35,400 lbs of a semi-routine basis, I think I better stick with making it as bulletproof as possible first. I do plan to do the valvetrain upgrade on this upcoming round of upgrades if possible.

Why would 30s not work? JD did 60s with 2.0pw and only lost 22hp I think it was so a decent tune and a half way working k16 should be able to I would think

I dont know power drop on mine but i can maintain 23500 psi on 60 hp nozzles in the spartan 310 tune. My pump also has 108k miles on it fwiw.

in the fuel system discussion thread there are some pretty nice set ups with a stock hpfp and bigger nozzles if anyone is following this and wanting proof...

I am so lost. My mods are in my signature. I was thinking of going with a nitrous kit, with a set of 30% nozzles. From what I think im reading on here, is that we loose power with the 30% on stock fuel HPFP, is that correct?

Need pumps before nozzles. Could pull some PW out of tune to help keep rail inline but really just need more k16.

If you plan on going any size larger nozzles, plain and simple you need either a II pump or duel fuelers.

Also keep in mind the parasitic draw of the extra pump. It will rob power (I suspect in the 70hp range at full tilt) so if you do an extra pump, be sure to get large enough injectors to justify the compensate for the added parasite.

Does it make more power than stock injectors with a stock pump? if not, what's the benefit?

I am hoping quicker spool up and and a little lower cruising EGTs (of course I am only doing 15% on stock pump).
