I have the ST Maxx as well and have been very happy with them. I have about 42k on them now and I think I can get another 15k easy.

I would stay away from AT Maxx myself, I got some in Oct 2014 and only got 26k and exactly a year out of them. Got them at Discount and when I showed how fast they were wearing they said they didn't have any type of warranty so I was just out of luck. Then I got some Toyo MT's in Oct 2015 and have them now and I'm at 36k miles and I'd guess I have maybe 5-8k left on them.
That's probably all you'll get out of some tires for these truck's as heavy as they are. I also tow a small trailer most days. Even tires with a warranty like the Toyo RT's or the ProComp MT2's only come with a 40k mile warranty.

Has anyone tried the Treadwright Claw IIs? - I havent heard great things about them on youtube, a buddy had some of the Guard dogs and they actually held up well, they are super cheap though...

Have you thought about 35" 19.5 tires? They'll last forever! Here they are next to 265's.

My Treadwrights came apart at 5000 miles on a road trip.

I guess he got lucky then he had way more that 5k on them with no issues, including multiple trips from KS to TX to MT and back again pulling about 10k

No, we got new tires on that truck and went with nitto G2s. Still weird how it happened, but honestly wouldn't be scared to run them again. It happened after I sold that truck to my uncle. To the tires defense, those tires used to be in my 2015 when I had king triple bypass shocks. Those tires went through hell and back.

Since you pull the trailer on the beach get an all terrain. Mud's dig too much. Everyone has their favorite but if I bought a set it would be the BFG or Goodyear.

Are they a true 19.5" medium duty tire? If so its going to ride awful IMO, way too stiff of a tire. I love the long life and how much weight the 19.5's handle on my F-450, but would never want them on a light duty vehicle.

I just picked up a '14 F-250 with 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. Truck has a little over 54k miles, and the carfax shows it had new tires installed at 46k which i assume are these. Still look to have plenty of life left. Road manners seem to be excellent compared to other "mud" tires we've ran over the years. They feel very solid, even with 11k in tow.

I had the Toyo AT/2 on my 2011 and got 61k out of them.
Now i have the M/T and ill think they'll go about 55k
what did you pay for a set of each of you don't mind me asking?

I roll alot of tires for our fleet, hands down the Nitto Ridge Grappler is the best new tire out there. It's a hybrid AT/MT tire. No howl at all, thats what makes them great. We currently have them on 3 trucks.

I run the 35x12.5x17 on the F450.

The picture is of them on the F150.

does that say 11.5?

don't rule our mastercraft tires.. made in the same spot as cooper and a hair cheaper.. I have 28k on a set of 35-12.5r18 mxt's. just lil over 50% left..

6k on my BFG KO2 35x12.50s on stock Platinum 20s
..couldn't be happier. Incredible dry and wet traction, wonderful light snow/ice traction. I've only had to engage 4wd once, got in a little deeper mud than I thought I was in, came right out without any issues.
Barely louder than the stock Michelins.

Stable up to 146mph so far too, haha.

Yes, these are the real deal. I have a set of 225 19.5's on my 7.3 running 65 PSI and I think they are the smoothest tire I have had on that truck. I like them because of the size and you don't have to have a 12.5" wide tire, that and they last forever/no sidewall movement. You can feel the stiffness when driving large gravel.

Another vote for Cooper AT/3. Have 64,000 mi. on the f150 and still legal.
that is a lot lighter of a truck though.. I never use a half ton to compare tire wear on these heavy front end mofo's.
