It all depends on tuning, converter and how you are with the throttle. But you Should be able to spool a 66 pretty easy seems weird to me.

And I'm running a jobe intake worked well so far with te filterYes big difference all depends on the street tune also. I run a open 5" intake on the track no filter.
If you can't spool your 66 something is wrong. I along with these guys spool s475's just fine. Tuning issue? Drive pressure leak? Boost leak? Something isn't right. My 66 spooled like a freakin stock turbo LOL
Funny story. My downpipe fell off and was blowing exhaust under the hood. I think a combination of high intake temps and a black ass air filter may be the issue. I'm an idiot I know lol derail over.It all depends on tuning, converter and how you are with the throttle. But you Should be able to spool a 66 pretty easy seems weird to me.

I gotta dig into it more. Trapped 84 so I know it's making power.

Take the intake off. Problem solved. Put my 66 on december of 2012 or jan of 2013 can't remember. Either way, my truck hasn't had an intake on it since then LOL
Do you think that would help spool up that much?
Off topic guys but I couldn't even spool my 66 on saturday. not sure what was going on. Both your trucks ran great.

What stall speed converter you run?
What stall speed converter you run?
The 366 I ran a while back would not spool on stock converter in warm weather.
The 475 I run is a 75 87/80 hot side .90 ar needs all of a 2500 stall speed to spool
Stock trans. Box 66 with a billet 11 blade and your 190/75s

.90 ar? If so going to be tough to spool on stock trans.
