Who is running what for tires? I'm more interested in seeing pictures with 35" all terrain tires. I was really considering MT's but with the amount of driving I do every week on the highway, I'm going to go with an AT.

Tires I'm considering....

1. 295/60/20 Nitto Terra Grappler
2. 35/12.50/20 Toyo Open Country AT/II

Any others I should consider???

I don't want any rubbing on the radius arms, so I'm eliminating 325's right off the bat. Been there done that. The truck will have 3" blocks in the rear and a 2" leveling kit up front with factory 2011 wheels.

My At2s seem to have more road noise than when I've had terra grapplers in the past, if that matters to you. Not quite as much as the Toyo MT, but noticeable.

I think the Nittos are a great choice. You will like them a lot.

i used to like nittos-they are quiet and ride nice-they also work well in the rain.

downside is they wore out like really fast on my duramax and last weekend i saw a truck run them on the dyno which changed my opinion of them too....

most tires develop a "roll" and the top end of the dyno run but the nittos had FOUR rolls and were to hot to touch when he was done. i will try and dig up a pic

Compared to the POS Michelins that came on the truck the Nittos are wearing great. At 6kmi the Michelins were cupping and chunking out. 14kmi and the Nittos still look and measure like new.

I do think the Truetrac I put in the rear is really helping the rear tires survive. Getting full power to both wheels keeps the wheelspin to a minimum.
